Restoring Broken Relationships PDF Print E-mail

In the Epistle for Ash Wednesday, we heard these words:

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. [2 Corinthians 5:18-20]

Above all, the Gospel is about this: God has restored our broken relationship with Him through the suffering and death of Christ. And we are given the privilege of living that out in our relationships within the Body of Christ. Click here to read an article from the February Lutheran Witness which can help all of us speak repentance and receive the forgiveness of our Lord in all of our relationships.

Young Adults

The Next Step has resumed meeting. These young adults are gathering on Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Blake & Lydia Ingram’s home.

We are currently reading Scot McKnight's book The Jesus Creed. You don’t need to be at every meeting for the book to make sense, though.

So even if you haven’t been able to come before, you are always welcome to join us.
Call Blake Ingram for more information.
